Chateau de Vincennes

I am still in Paris but in a different part of the city now, I am staying in a beautiful apartment in a part called Vincennes which is also kind of a suburb of Paris. This part is more busy beacause it's only couple of metro stops away from central Paris but still feels kind of homey. It's full of families and children, even in the evenings there are still kids outside playing on the streets and families going for walk or sitting in the restaurants outside. It is nice to see , I like this kind of life with fruit shop on the corner with amazing deliciouss fruits, coffee shops and restaurants, people sitting outside and eating or having a coffee or just going for a family walk. It feels nice, summer in the city.

Not far from my apartment here, there is a castle Chateau de Vincennes. I took a walk with Alex around and inside of it today in the pram. It felt magical. We still have couple of days left here so I need to make the most of it.I have mixed feelings about leaving Paris, I thought I would be happy to go home and I am but a part of me feels sad to be leaving this place.

Paris

Still in the beautiful part of Serris, well 20 minutes away from Paris technically but still feels like Paris, maybe because of the big shopping mall close by and the Disneyland Park. I love waking up here. It is really a beautiful part with lots of trees and parks everywhere. They even have an outlet shopping village here with all the high end shops and Starbucks. I feel at home!

I had an amazing day walking around the mall and then drinking my iced late in the children's park with Alex. It seems he likes it here too. Paris is growing on me, although I love to be in the nature with hills and forests around. There is something about this city though that you just grow to love and when you leave, you miss it. I even started considering moving here, but that requires a lot of planning so for now it is just an idea.
And guess what I did in the evening when I got home ofcourse had some Ben & Jerry's with Netflix.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Disneyland Paris

This week I we made a family trip to Disneyland Paris and had some fun time on some rides enjoying the Disney spirit. We set off early in the morning from our apartment not far from Disneyland and entered as soon as they opened. It was almost empty so we got to enjoy the train ride around the park aithout the chaos of too many people everywhere. Later the park started to get more and more crowded and it ment long queues everywhere. My favorite ride was It's a small world and I really recommend this to anyone it's soo cute it's basically a boat ride with dolls dancing and singing dressed up in national costumes representing almost every culture. It's really visually amazing and you don't even know wher to look first!
