Yesterday's trip to Nancy was good but I am really happy to be back home to enjoy the snowy day.
Big cities are great but it's always nice to get out of the crowded places and have my space and tranquillity. I can think more and focus better. It's my little quiet paradise. The view of the forest and seeing the birds and horses around is so healing. Micho loves it too.

Vcerajsi vylet do Nancy bol pekny ale som rada ze som spat doma a mozem si uzit snehu. Velke mesta su super ale je stale fajn vyjst z preludnenych miest  a mat moj vlastny priestor a pokoj. Viac rozmyslam a viem sa lepsie sustredit. Je to moj maly tichy raj. Vyhlad na les a pohlad na vtaky a kone dookola je taky liecivy. Micho to ma tiez rad.

We had a nice walk in the snow with Micho and a little snowball fight too. I love this season. With the snow everything feels better.

Vysli sme si na dobru prechadzku s Michom a bola aj mala gulovacka. Milujem toto obdobie. So snehom je vsetko lepsie.

It is sad though that the Christmas decorations have to go down soon. Now it's finally starting to look really Christmassy here.  I might keep them up for longer just for myself :) .

Je ale smutne ze vianocne ozdoby budu musiet ist o chvilu dole. Teraz to tu konecne zacina vyzerat Vianocne. Mozno si ich necham trosku dlhsie len pre seba :) .

And this is what I got yesterday in Nancy. Some pajamas and tops in H&M for Alexandre and some shirts for myself.

I also got this blue velvet backpack in Zara and I am in love with it.

Lounging and Christmas presents

I spent the whole Sunday just watching movies, reading books and playing with Alex and enjoying Christmas presents. I finally had time to start the new book, trying to enjoy the quiet moments in the evenings when the baby is asleep. Also I finally found the time to watch Gilmore Girls again! Best thing to do on dark winter evenings in cozy pajamas and a mug of hot cocoa.

Celu nedelu som presedela na gauci pozerala filmy, citala knihy a hrala sa s Alexom a uzivala si vianocnych darcekov. Konecne som mala cas zacat novu knihu. Snazim sa vychutnat si tiche chvile po veceroch ked uz dieta spi. Tiez som si konecne nasla cas pozriet si znovu Gilmore Girls! najlepsia vec na chladne vecery v pohodlnom pyzame so salkou kakaa.

It was also very relaxing to walk my dog late at night and observe everybody's decorations and what kind of tree they have this year. I love watching other people's Christmas decorations. How about you?

I really enjoyed all the presents that I got from everyone. Although I think the real reason why I enjoyed this Christmas so much was that I wasn't alone and the biggest joy was to watch my family open their presents.

Vsetky darceky co som dostala sa mi velmi pacili. Aj ked myslim si, ze pravy dovod preco sa mi tieto Vianoce zdali take carovne bol ze som nebola sama a najvacsia radost bola pozorovat moju rodinu ako otvaraju svoje darceky.

A cashmere sweater from Ralph Lauren, I love the color and the softness, there's never enough cashmere in the winter. What did you give or get for Christmas?

Kasmirovy sveter od Ralph Lauren, paci sa mi farba aj makkost tohto materialu. Kasmiru nie je v zime nikdy dost. Co ste darovali alebo dostali na Vianoce vy?

Another year...

Another year has gone by so quickly. I really wish I could make the time go slower, at least sometimes. This year's Christmas has been amazing. I love to be surrounded by my family and have all the amazing Christmas food and cookies... ah how I love those winter evenings with the good book and good French chocolates. Now I am just waiting for the snow to start falling finally. With a mug of hot chocolate (or Baileys) and some treats from chocolatier artisanal (in my case from THIL) by the fireplace the only thing missing now are the soft snowflakes behind the window falling down slowly and making everything pure and white. I hope you had a lovely Christmas everyone! Joyeux Noel!

Dalsi rok uplynul prilis rychlo. Naozaj by som si priala spomalit cas, aspon niekedy. Tohtorocne Vianoce boli skvele. Milujem byt obklopena rodinou a mat vsetko to uzastne jedlo a kolaciky... ach ako zboznujem tie zimne vecere s dobrou knihou a dobrymi Francuzskymi cokoladami. Teraz uz len cakam aby zacal konecne padat sneh. So salkou horucej cokolady (alebo Baileys) a zopar pochutkami z obchodu s cokoladou (v mojom pripade z THIL) jedine co mi pri krbe chyba su jemne snehove vlocky za oknom pomaly padajuce meniac vsetko na bielu cistotu. Dufam ze ste vsetci prezili krasne Vianoce! Joyeux Noel!
