Spring inspo

 The inspiration for the spring :new pastel colors and stiletto shoes.

  Cleaning my home and making it more airy and light.

 New hair styles and color refreshing with the organic hair treatments.

 More flowers around the house (Valentine's Day is coming!)

 New hair style , probably cutting off the ends.

 Taking more walks and beginning to jogg again. Starting yoga and balett again.
 Learning to braid my own hair more and do more hair styles at home.

Auvergne spring paradise

 At this time of the year there's only one place in France that I want to visit and that is much souther than where I live at the moment. My favorite region is Auvergne. The spring there starts as early as February and it is an absolute spring heaven of cherry trees peach trees and almond trees blossoming everywhere. Every garden there is a piece of art. Yes the spring comes early to Auvergne. As early as the end of February!

It is a very sunny region  built around a volcano and the mountains in the distance shelter the main city Clermont-Ferrand from the wind. It is greener than any other region I've seen and a paradise of singing birds and blossoming roses everywhere.

 One of my favorite restaurants in the city is Bougnat Burger where they make deliciouss bio burgers with the meat and cheese from that region. Burgers with Sant Nectaire cheese or bleu d'Auvergne are my favorite. The most tasty burgers ever!

This region is full of fruit trees everywhere( I've never seen so many cherry trees in my whole life) and is one of the sunniest regions in France. Plus the fact that you can have tons of cherries and almonds in your back yard is just so amazing! They are literally growing everywhere.

 Clermont-Ferrand is a beautiful city with a view of the volcanos the closest one just outside of the city called Puy de Dome. I have spent one year living here and loved it so much I want to go back. It has one of the driest climates in France and the sun there just makes me feel so positive about everything.Also having flowers blossoming everywhere makes you just feel happier!

Capri calling

 This cold weather outside makes me long for Capri the most beautiful place I've ever visited. Maybe it had an extra magic to it because it was the spring but it was just such a charming place that I deffinitely want to go back. I am craving it right now the warm breez, the beautiful turquoise see around the island and the flowers of all kinds, lemon trees and the smell of jasmine and bougainvillea flowers... definitely my favorite place for holidays.

 Because Capri is an island it has a specific climate and constant breeze so it's never too hot and the fauna and flora are just amazing. There are little lizards everywhere on the island and they are completely harmless and kind of cute. The people are very friendly in a typical Italian fashion and the views from everywhere are.. well stunning doesn't even describe it.

 There are two towns on the island, Capri and Anacapri, I personally stayed in Anacapri since it's less noisy and further from the crowds.The whole island feels very welcoming and is like a big family where everybody knows everyone so you feel like on the second day you say hello to most people.
This island has won my heart (and all my six senses) with amazing food, beautiful smells of flowers, wonderful views, birds singing, heavenly warm breeze. I am hoping to go back very soon. Actually I am daydreaming about it right now and looking at plane tickets already for spring again.

Good luck horse shoe

 As I mentioned earlier it was my birthday this week and one of the birthday presents that I got was this horse shoe from Efva Attling a Swedish jewellery designer. I really like the style of this necklace. It's perfect for me since I love everything horse related. The design of the packaging is really stylish too. What do you think?

Sleepless nights

The weather here has been really cold recently and even though it is sunny, the wind makes you regret it everytime you go out. So we've been driving everywhere rather than walking lately. I've felt like I've been coming down with a flu these past couple of days as well.

So it hasn't been a great week for me. But there are days like these too unfortunatelly. Lately I feel like everything is going wrong. I also learnt about the family member being sick so that doesn't help either. I need to stay positive though it might still be nothing. It just makes you remember that your health and the health of the ones you love is the most important thing in this world and everything else can come later.

 My mind just didn't want to turn off and it's been running around in circles. I was unable to do anything, it was hard to even focus on work. I was baking, shopping and painting trying to keep my mind distracted... Hopefully the next week will be a more positive one!

Nevers and Birthdays

 I've spent the last couple of days in a town called Nevers and I really enjoyed it. I had to come here more for business than pleasure but it was so worth it. It was so good to change the frozen north for the sunnier and a bit warmer south well at least what feels to me like the south.I have missed this light. The sun is just so different here...

 I have browsed around little shops and wondered around the old empty streets of this pretty French town and I found many little jewels. The main cathedral was one of them. Walking by the river Loire with the beautiful sunrises was one of my favorite things to do. The southern sun just felt so good. I think my body doesn't even remember the sun anymore after these grim grey wintery days that we've been having up north.

Today was also my birthday so a lunch in a cute little Japanese restaurant called Yuriko was in place. They had a deliciouss selection of all kinds of sushi and amazing desserts. I had a great day thanks to my family and some friends who remembered. I got many beautiful presents which I'll share with you later.

 Although I've been enjoying the weather here so much it's now time to go home. Now a five hour drive back home and I'm already planning a trip to Besançon and Strasbourg next week. Have a good night lovelies!

A little time

 Today I finally found some time for a little bit of pampering. It felt soo good to have some time for myself. I have to laugh though because now I call pampering even washing my hair and curling it! These days time is preciouss and I realy apreciate every minute that i get without rushing. I even had time to dry my hair and curl it properly which is a luxury these days. A proper relaxation and time for your self is so important though it makes you feel prettier and more relaxed in an instant. I love to just take a bath with my favorite essential oils and salts and candles. This stuff is so important in the winter!

Dnes som konecne nasla trosku casu na kuru. Velmi dobre mi to padlo mat trochu casu pre seba. Ale musim sa zasmiat pretoze teraz uz volam kurou aj umytie a natocenie vlasov! V tychto dnoch je mi cas naozaj vzacny a naozaj si cenim kazdu chvilku ktoru mam bez nahlenia.Dokonca som mala cas aj na vysusenie vlasov a natocenie co je pre mna v tychto dnoch luxusom. No poriadna relaxacia a cas pre seba su take dolezite, hned to pozdvihne sebavedomie a zrelaxuje cloveka. Rada si robim kupel s oblubenymi esencialnymi olejmi, solou do kupela a svieckami. Tieto veci su v zime tak dolezite!

Heaven

If I died and went to heaven, it would look like a scandinavian country house. In the summer of course :) . I just love the scandinavian simplicity and their passion for white. I am daydreaming about these white interiors with views of beautiful wild north scenery. So different from France yet so enchanting!

It gives the interior very clean and simple look that goes with any other color and goes so well with the nature around. Add lot's of candles, some blankets and furs (fake please) and you are going to feel like Gerda and Kai in Hans Christiansen's Snow Queen.

I guess my next holiday destination is revealed. Have a good evening everyone!
